Dr. Tran graduated from the prestigious Harvard Dental School of Medicine in 1999.  Following her graduation from Harvard, she completed a General Practice Residency Fellowship in 2000 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the top ten hospitals in the U.S.

A graduate of U.C.L.A. (1995) and Pierce College in Woodland Hills, CA (1993), she has lived in the San Fernando Valley area since 1989 after immigrating to the country from Vietnam with her parents, except for the five years pursuing her DMD in Boston, MA.

In 2000, Dr. Tran came back to the San Fernando Valley and started practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in Van Nuys. In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Tran also obtained further training in braces and implants  and has performed over a hundred cases of braces (since 2004) and implants (since 2012) for her patients at her Van Nuys office.  Dr. Tran is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.

To Dr. Tran, dentistry is not just about pulling teeth or filling cavities, but more about using her clinical-based evidence training at Harvard and years of experience to improve the dental health as well as enhancing the smile and the look of each of her patients.  Her practice and business philosophy is Patient First, meaning performing only the procedures that are necessary to improve the dental health of her patients - at a competitive cost - saving her patients from unnecessary procedures and needless cost and saving their teeth as long as clinically possible.

Although located on one of the busiest streets in Van Nuys, her dental office is run more like a dental practice in a small village, treating patients with utmost care & respect and with ease and patience in a peaceful & quiet setting.
